Through my practice and teachings I love to focus on the very essence of yoga, finding balance within our own being. By moving and feeling from within we create a sense of calm, peace & happiness.The practice of yoga helps us deepen our understanding of ourselves, others and our environment.
The practice of yoga has been with me for over 20 years. Throughout this time, my practice has shaped and evolved around new learnings and life experiences. I have studied many linears from Iyengar to Shadow Yoga with many know and unknown teachers and all have inspired me with something I can weave into my own teachings and self practice.
At present I am deepening my studies of iRest Yoga Nidra with Richard Miller & Kirsten Guest. I am also incorporating a more somatic exploration into my practice with my teacher Julie Martin.
I offer an open space, which is non competitive, calming and peaceful. I teach to welcome everything that is present at this moment and encourage movement from the heart.
